Hear from our amazing team

Theresa, Service Director
“With a degree in housing and previous experience in elderly care, I’ve worked with NAASH since 2006. I am responsible for the overall service we provide and for identifying new services that provide support for the needs of homeless people in West Northamptonshire. My main role is to make sure customers are appropriately placed and directly supported by the NAASH teams. I’m also very hands on when needed, working with customers as part of our frontline team.”

Sharon, Team Leader
“I have worked for NAASH since 2012 in a number of roles. I currently have a small caseload of private rented houses and I am Team Leader for the Intensive Support Service. It is very satisfying to support people to work through any issues they have and see them move on into independent accommodation.”

Gemma, Support Worker
“Working with NAASH is rewarding and fulfilling, helping individuals aim for a better quality of life by supporting and working with them, I have had the pleasure to experience and support many people from diverse backgrounds. Changing people’s lives has been rewarding and I am passionate in the belief that everybody regardless of their background deserves a chance to improve their life.”

Jordan, Support Worker
“Working for NAASH is different to anywhere else I have worked before. In other places there are generic parameters of care and support that can be provided to individuals in need. At NAASH we have the capacity to assist and support clients based on their individual needs. In other words, we are able to manage time and individuals uniquely and accordingly – no two days are the same!”

Michelle, Office Manager
“I started with NAASH as Office Manager in 2023. I enjoy the variety that each day brings and am very much still learning on the job.”

Izabela, Night Concierge Worker
“I am Night Concierge Worker. I have a passion for helping people and feel inspired every day.”

Stacey, Support Worker
“I have worked for NAASH since leaving the prison service after 17 years. I enjoy my role in the Intensive Support Service, as we work closely with our customers and get to know them extremely well, which enables us to help and support their needs to the best of our ability.”

Marzena, Support Worker
“At NAASH we pride ourselves in building positive relationships with our tenants, we work hard to support each and every individual without prejudice and work hard with external agencies to ensure best possible outcomes for our customers. We pride ourselves in making sure that everybody has a safe and comfortable environment to live in, this is one of the main factors to help start the change of someone’s life.

I am very proud to be part of such a great, enthusiastic, and supportive team.”

Claire, Support Worker
“I currently work at the Intensive Support Service at NAASH and have been with the charity since 2022. I enjoy my role as it can be rewarding and have a positive impact on the people we support, to make positive changes so they can lead a fulfilling life.”

Susan, Support Worker
“I began working with NAASH in 2024. I have been able to witness first-hand how NAASH works to give their tenants the opportunity to re-build their lives and move on after falling on difficult times and become valuable members of society. Each tenant has their own individual needs and history, NAASH can be flexible to provide the support by using external agencies and their own skills sets. I have found the team I work with are encouraging and happy to help with anything I need at any time.”

Michelle, Support Worker
“I work in the intense support unit of NAASH. I enjoy my role because it can be rewarding helping those in need and seeing them achieve their personal goals. Helping them to realise that they are human beings, and they are valued just the same as everybody else.

We are all dealt a different hand in life, but we can always strive to do better.”

Nya, Support Worker
“NAASH provides unique support for individuals who are suffering from social exclusion and/or isolation and we help develop and integrate them back into society by using pro social modelling and support as our main tool, this gives our clients unique opportunities and support plans, tailored to their specific needs.”
